English Grammar – Much / Many / A lot

Learn how to use the quantifiers — much, many, and a lot of — and avoid common grammatical errors. Don’t forget to take the quiz at www.engVid.com and if you need to take the lesson countable and uncountable nouns that I mention in this video, you can watch it here www.engvid.com

in my opinion if you want to teach english you need to speak slowly, because peope that are looking for this video want to learn english as well as you want to teach it.

  6. superdau says:

Just because this is a grammar lesson (wouldn’t nitpick this otherwise ;-) ):
Isn’t “GPS system” redundant? (maybe it’s used this way in english; I’m not a native speaker). It’s like using your PIN “number” at an ATM “machine” equipped with a LCD “display”. ;-)

  7. forezve says:

    thanks !!!!

  8. shaziazeba says:

    cool……….

  9. NoirHammer says:

You should consider explaining what an “abstract idea” is so that ESL students can follow what you’re saying before you explain quantifiers.

  10. tastybrain says:

Great video! Being an ESL teacher myself, I have a question. How would you explain when to use much, many or a lot of in terms of positive and negative constructions and in questions. We use much in negative sentence constructions but not in positive sentence constructions. We use much is questions but not in yes/no questions? Is that correct?
